Introduction

Welcome to the technical documentation of the YATE text editor.
Yate is based on Kilo - a small text editor that is written in less than 1K lines of code.

Building

To build the editor a C-Compiler, that supports the C99 standard and CMake (Version >= 3.16) is required.
